Attend one of our events to help the kids at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Doernbechers has delivered hope and healing to families from throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington since 1926. Established in Portland as a teaching hospital affiliated with what is now Oregon Health
& Science University, Doernbecher was the region's first full-service children's medical center. Today, Doernbecher still provides the area's most comprehensive range of family-centered pediatric healthcare services, including the area's most advanced specialty care. And as the primary center for OHSU's pediatric programs, Doernbecher is a national leader in research and the education of tomorrow's pediatric specialists.

When - December
Where - The Original Roadhouse Grill, Gresham. OR
The Roadhouse donates 20% of the total bill to Unions for Kids. The hospitality and food are awesome.
Last year the event included Mr. Norman Sylvester, “the Original Northwest Boogie Cat”. He and his musical quartet donated their time and talent to provide some engaging blues. Proceeds of sales of his autographed original music CDs went towards studio sessions for 16 new original songs in the works. Mr. Sylvester, a member of Musicians Local 99, was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame on October 8, 2011. Read more and hear his music at the Norman Sylvester Web Site.
